Designing a Payment App for Teenagers

FamPay is India’s first payment app for teenagers and their families. With FamPay, minors can make UPI, P2P, and card payments without needing to set up a bank account. FamPay allows parents to send money to their children under the age of 18, which they can spend securely anytime, anywhere—under parental supervision. FamPay aims to make payments smooth and fun for children.

As the first in-house Product Designer at FamPay, I worked closely with the leadership and engineering teams to build their MVP. This included P2P and P2M payments, family management, a social transaction feed, card management, and a transaction management experience for their Android app.
